STRUUUGGGGLED

I have been so struggled recently.

I joined a Career Exploration Program last month. It is a two-weeks program. In the first week, I did lots of tests for skills, such as language, numeracy, problem-solving.

I am good at some skills, but my English has some problems. I don't know the meaning of a lot of vocabulary. Even though the mathematics questions were so easy, I still needed some time to read and make sure of the meaning. So I run out of time to finish all the questions. I felt upset.

Most of my classmates in that program are native speakers or have been in Canada more than 20 years. They also have Canadian working experience and are on EI. I am different from them. I had never worked in Canada. Of course, I have no Canadian working experience. What I can do? In those two weeks, I thought of these questions and asked myself everyday. I think I need to make my heart stronger and not give up.

The facilitator gave us one word every morning. It was to encourage people to be positive. I like one of them, which says "It is the best time whenever you get starting."

I should start now.
